Josh received his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Texas and is a shareholder at Sneed, Vine & Perry, P.C., where his practice focuses on assisting clients with a wide range of transactional business matters, from formation to operation to sale, with a particular emphasis on real estate development.
He practices out of the firm’s Georgetown, Texas office in Williamson County.
Josh’s clients include the Georgetown Independent School District, the Georgetown Health Foundation, Alliance Bank, Commercial National Bank of Brady, Corridor Title Company, Compostela Development, and various other general contractors, home builders, and residential and commercial real estate developers.
Josh was elected Mayor of Georgetown, Texas in November 2020 and re-elected in 2023. He serves on the City Council’s Audit and Finance Committee and the Unified Development Code Update Steering Committee. He also serves on the board of directors of the Williamson County Conservation Foundation, and he is the vice-chairman of the board of the Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (“CAMPO”).
He is the former chair of the City of Georgetown’s Zoning Board of Adjustment, the Planning & Zoning Commission, and the Historical and Architectural Review Commission. He also continues to serve on the boards of various non-profit and civic organizations including the St.
David’s Hospital Board, The Southwestern University Board of Visitors, and The Georgetown Development Alliance.
Josh and his wife Ashley have been married for 25 years and have three children whom they have raised in Georgetown.
