Wendy Chen is an associate attorney at Sneed, Vine & Perry, P.C., where her practice focuses on business and corporate law, and commercial litigation, leveraging a background in civil litigation, contract review and insurance coverage determinations.
Prior to joining Sneed, Vine & Perry, P.C., Wendy represented clients in insurance matters, including reviewing insurance policy contracts (workers’ compensation, commercial general liability, homeowners, etc.), subcontractor agreements and making determinations of coverage under the policies. She also represented insurers in district court and before the Texas Department of Insurance, Division of Workers’ Compensation, and prepared motions, pleadings and legal memoranda.
Previously, Wendy clerked for two years for the Honorable Lawrence Meyers and the Honorable Mary Lou Keel on the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals, where she researched and drafted bench memoranda. She also contributed to several published opinions.
During law school, Wendy was a law clerk at the Texas Municipal League, answering questions of municipal law from city officials across Texas. Wendy also served as a staff member of the Texas Journal of Civil Liberties and Civil Rights, and was a member of the Delta Theta Phi International Law Fraternity.
