Joshua Schroeder


Background and Education

Josh was born in Taylor, Texas on August 7, 1976. He is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin (B.A., with honors, 1998; J.D., 2002). He is a member of the State Bar of Texas. Prior to joining the firm, he clerked on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit for the late Reynaldo G. Garza and Thomas M. Reavley. A resident of Georgetown, Josh works out of the firm’s Williamson County office. Josh serves on the boards of various non-profit and civic organizations including The Caring Place, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and Brookwood in Georgetown. He also is a member of and serves as the moderator and a deacon at First Baptist Church Georgetown. Josh is currently the chair of the City of Georgetown’s Zoning Board of Adjustment and Planning & Zoning Commission. Josh was named the Citizen of the Year for 2014 by the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce, and he was named a Rising Star by the Texas Super Lawyer publication for 2014 and 2015.

Areas of Practice

Josh’s areas of practice include general business matters, commercial and residential real estate development and construction, banking and corporate law. Josh also handles estate planning and probate matters.
